I would be the first to admit that this is not a very exciting book to look at but inside it is wonderful or at least I think it is. It was published by Country Life and this is the second edition. It is full of bungalows, their floor plans and ideas on furnishing the interiors. I love bungalows and would adore to love in one. Originally they were of Asian origin and as usual as we travel we pick up ideas from other counties and other cultures. In the 1920s the bungalow in Britain took off and people were snapping them up wherever they could hence this book. It shows different styles, different treatments and the importance of planning your bungalow carefully. The designs are from various architects and there is one that caught my eye by Clough-Ellis.
