I don’t usually read non fiction but I was very taken with this book. It is a true crime story regarding the death of a small boy. As the author tries to make sense of the crime and its perpetrator it resonates with experience in her own life. It is an exceptional piece of writing and I found it very hard to put aside. Not for people who enjoy cosy crime but if you like hard hitting crime fiction you will enjoy this. The copy shown here is a proof copy so the copy you receive will look slightly different. It is due out 18/05/2017 at £20.00 and is a hard cover.
